Heera Jumbo Chick Peas - Dried Kabuli Chana

Heera Jumbo Chick Peas – Dried Kabuli Chana

Heera Jumbo Chick Peas are dried kabuli chana with a plump, creamy texture when fully cooked. Keep them in the cupboard for a comforting pot of chole, a fragrant chana masala, homemade hummus or a chickpea salad.

Why choose them?

• Jumbo chickpeas: a substantial bite and creamy texture when cooked.
• Versatile pantry staple: use in curries, stews, salads and dips.
• Plant-based ingredient: an easy starting point for vegetarian dishes.

How to cook dried kabuli chana

Soak in plenty of water overnight, then drain and rinse. Cook in fresh water until completely tender; the time varies with the age of the chickpeas and your cooking method. Add the cooked chickpeas to an onion-and-tomato masala with cumin and coriander for chole, or blend with tahini, lemon and garlic for hummus.
