How to Use

Peel and finely grate or mince into curry bases alongside garlic and onion. Slice thinly and simmer in chai for a warming spiced tea. Blend into marinades for chicken tikka or seekh kebabs. Pound into a paste with garlic for a classic adrak-lehsun masala base. Also excellent in ginger pickle (adrak ka achar) and fresh chutneys.

Storage Tips

Refrigerate in a sealed bag or airtight container for up to 2 weeks. For longer storage, freeze whole or pre-grated — ginger can be grated directly from frozen, making it incredibly convenient.
