Fresh Apple Gourd (Tinda Round) — A South Asian Kitchen Essential

Tender, mild, and wonderfully versatile, the Apple Gourd — known as Tinda in Punjabi and Hindi — is a beloved staple across South Asian households. With its smooth, pale green skin and soft, spongy flesh, Tinda absorbs spices beautifully, making it the perfect canvas for a rich, home-style curry.

Why You'll Love It

Delicate, mild flavour — pairs effortlessly with cumin, coriander, and tomato-based gravies
Tender texture — cooks quickly and soaks up every drop of masala
Nutritious & light — naturally low in calories, high in water content, and easy to digest
Freshly sourced — hand-selected for firmness and freshness, delivered straight to your door

How to Use

Peel, deseed, and cube for a classic Tinda Aloo curry, or stuff with a spiced filling for a show-stopping Bharwa Tinda. It also works wonderfully in lentil-based dishes and light stir-fries.
