Wagh Bakri Masala Chai Loose Tea – India’s Favourite Spiced Tea, Now in Your Kitchen
There is a reason chai is not just a drink in South Asia — it’s a ritual. A pause in the day. A welcome for guests. A comfort when everything else feels uncertain. And for generations of Indian households, Wagh Bakri has been the brand that defines what great chai tastes like.
Wagh Bakri Masala Chai Loose Tea takes that legacy and layers it with the warmth of traditional Indian spices — ginger, cardamom, cloves, black pepper, and cinnamon — blended directly into a premium, full-bodied loose leaf tea. The result is a cup that is bold, aromatic, naturally warming, and deeply satisfying from the very first sip.
Why Wagh Bakri?
Founded in Gujarat in 1892, Wagh Bakri is one of India’s most trusted and beloved tea brands. Their masala chai blend uses carefully selected CTC tea leaves — a processing method that produces small, dense granules designed to brew quickly and deliver a strong, full-flavoured cup that holds up beautifully against milk and sugar in the true Indian chai tradition.

The Perfect Cup of Masala Chai
To brew the perfect cup the traditional way, combine 1 teaspoon of Wagh Bakri Masala Chai per cup with cold water and milk in a small saucepan — approximately half water and half whole milk for a rich result. Bring to the boil over a medium heat, stirring occasionally. Add sugar to taste. Allow to simmer for 2–3 minutes until the tea deepens in colour and the spices bloom. Strain into your cup and serve immediately.
For a lighter brew, steep in boiling water for 3–4 minutes and add warm milk separately.
